Bachelor of Accounting and Finance students at SEGi University recently participated in an industry-focused workshop titled “DISC Behavioural Profiling for Corporate Success”, conducted by Kevin Yap, Head of Financial Reporting
and Business Advisory at YYC Advisory, together with the YYC Advisory team.
Organised by Dr Sudhashini Nair from the Faculty of Business, the session introduced students to the DISC behavioural profiling framework. Through interactive activities, students gained greater self-awareness while strengthening their communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Dr Chok Nyen Vui, Dean of the Faculty of Business, opened the event by emphasising the importance of developing both technical expertise and soft skills for today’s competitive workplace.
The programme was further supported by student organisers Joanne Tan Jie Ying, Hannah Jaffar, Dhanieya Murugan, Soh Ye Kai, Lee Jing Xi and Lim Hong Xuan. The collaboration with YYC Advisory provided students with valuable industry insights and practical skills to support their future careers in accounting and finance.
