SEGi student filmmakers, this is your chance to take your story from campus to the world stage. The Sony Future Filmmaker Awards 2027 is now open for submissions, with free entry for filmmakers worldwide.

Students currently studying a film course at diploma or degree level may enter the Student category with a 5–20 minute short film of any genre. Shortlisted filmmakers will be flown to Los Angeles for an exclusive industry programme at Sony Pictures Studios, with masterclasses, networking and the awards ceremony.
