The Faculty of Business at SEGi University celebrated outstanding student achievement during the Faculty of Business Research Colloquium 2026, recognising individuals who demonstrated excellence in research, presentation, innovation, and sustainability.
The annual colloquium provides a platform for students to showcase their research findings, share innovative ideas, and strengthen their academic and professional competencies. Through oral presentations and research discussions, participants were given the opportunity to engage with peers and academics while developing critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills.
Several awards were presented to recognise exceptional contributions across different categories.
The Best Research Paper Award was presented to Debbie Lim Pei Bao and Trissha Arujunan in recognition of their outstanding research quality and academic contribution.
The Best Undergraduate Paper Award was awarded to Chua Vincent and Piretive a/l Eswararao, acknowledging the excellence of their undergraduate research and scholarly work.
For producing research with meaningful real-world value, the Impact Award was presented to Panashe Melissa Mutumha and Lim Fulwin.
The Sustainability Award recognised Wong Kai Xuan and Caleb Manasseh for research that demonstrated a strong commitment to sustainable development and responsible business practices. Outstanding presentation skills were also celebrated during the event. The Best Presenter Award was presented to Aisyah Khadija binti Abd Wahid and Yew Wan Teng, while the Best Oral Presentation Award was received by Anthony Roshan a/l Lourdes Sagayanathan and Muhammad Izzat bin Maketer.
