On 29 June 2026, Ir. Dr. Shamini Janasekaran from SEGi University conducted an industrial internship visit to Perunding Alif Bersatu to meet with Muhammad Ahsan Bin Haji Abd Rahman, a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering student currently undergoing his industrial training.
The visit aimed to monitor Ahsan’s internship progress, gain insights into his learning experience, and further strengthen the collaboration between SEGi University and Perunding Alif Bersatu. Industrial attachment is an essential component of the engineering curriculum, enabling students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world engineering environments while developing technical expertise, professional skills, and workplace readiness.
During the visit, discussions were held with Ahsan and his industry mentor, Mr. Amirul ‘Aizat Ja’afar, regarding his responsibilities, project involvement, and overall performance throughout the internship. Mr. Aizat shared positive feedback on Ahsan’s progress, highlighting his commitment, adaptability, eagerness to learn, and ability to contribute effectively to ongoing engineering projects. The discussion also provided an opportunity to review Ahsan’s learning outcomes and identify areas for further professional growth.
SEGi University also took the opportunity to express its sincere appreciation to Mr. Amirul ‘Aizat Ja’afar and the entire team at Perunding Alif Bersatu for their continuous guidance, mentorship, and support in providing a meaningful industrial learning experience. Such industry partnerships are invaluable in bridging the gap between academic learning and professional practice, ensuring students graduate with the competencies and confidence required by today’s engineering industry.
SEGi University remains committed to fostering strong collaborations with industry partners to enhance experiential learning and graduate employability. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Perunding Alif Bersatu and Mr. Amirul ‘Aizat Ja’afar for their dedication to nurturing future engineers and wish Ahsan every success as he continues his internship journey and prepares for a successful engineering career.
