Noryati Alias is a Senior Lecturer attached to the Postgraduate Studies, Faculty of Education & Languages, SEGi University, Malaysia. She received her Ph.D. from Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin, Malaysia, under the specialization of Management. However, she is also a multidisciplinarian expert in educational management, mathematics education, teacher education, research methodology, and e-learning. Currently, she is also pursuing the program Kursus Asuhan PERMATA Negara [PERMATA National Care for Children in Nursery] in expanding herself to the field of early childhood education. She has more than 30 years of experience in the field of education in Malaysia. She started her career as a secondary school teacher in public schools for 11 years. Afterwards, she joined the Ministry of Education Matriculation Center and moved on to higher educational institutions. She started as a lecturer at Universiti Teknologi MARA in Lendu, Melaka, then to Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, Kelana Jaya, Selangor. Next, she joined Asia e University, Subang Jaya, Selangor as a Senior Lecturer. She is also involved in training young teachers and in-service teachers under the Bachelor of Education programs. Even though her main research domain is in educational management and leadership, she also has a keen interest in e-learning that includes Open Distance Learning, research methodologies with the application of recent software such as AMOS, SMART PLS & ADANCO. Lately, she also develops an interest in the qualitative and mixed-method research methodology.
