Nurul Hijja Binti Mazlan is a lecturer specializing in instructional and educational technology at SEGi University, Malaysia. She obtained her PhD from University of Malaya with her thesis involved development of flipped instruction for Malay language writing. Her master was in development of reading prototype for deaf students. She started her career as a content developer in Khalifah Institute. She later received Graduate Research Fellowship from Universiti Putra Malaysia and attached as a demonstrator in Universiti Putra Malaysia. Later she awarded a scholarship from Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) to pursue her doctoral study. She is a graduate member of Malaysian Board of Technologist (MBOT).
