A former Member of the National Assembly Alan Ling is no stranger to Sarawakians. Ling the Secretary of Sarawak Democratic Action Party (DAP) and Sarawak Pakatan Harapan (PH). He played an active role in representing the interests of Sarawakians.
Ling who always wanted to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) has finally achieved his dream after graduated from SEGi.
“I always tell myself, If there is time, I will continue my studies,” Ling expressed.
He decided to register for the MBA course during the Movement Control Order (MCO) in 2020.
“I took this course during the MCO where I found time to study, and I successfully applied for a scholarship from the university, so I decided to do it,” explained Ling.
Ling, who attended the graduation ceremony after completing his studies half a year ago, said, “I hope that everyone knows the importance of lifelong learning because it is a process that makes us continue exploring new knowledge.”
The 39-year-old lawyer said that the legal field taught him to have a sense of social justice in addition to being used as a foundation to build his career.
“A great achievement cannot be measured by monetary rewards every time we succeed in helping others. All our dreams can come true if we dare to pursue them,” he stressed.
