About 20 students from the Faculty of Optometry, SEGi University Kota Damansara volunteered at the National Eye Health Awareness (NEHA) campaign, held on 7th September 2019, at Kuala Selangor. The students assisted in providing free eye examination to the public at Kampung Pasir Tuntong in an effort to raise awareness on the importance of having proper eye care among Malaysians.
Present during the campaign was our Minister of Health, Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkelfy Ahmad, who officiated the campaign and spared some time visiting the eye examination booths.
Kudos to our students for volunteering and we hope more SEGians will participate in such events as giving back to the community certainly adds value and makes a difference in your life and that of others.
