Services and networks
We can outline services and facilities which you may find helpful. This will ensure you are linked to relevant networks such as the Disability Liaison Officer and Welfare Officer networks for your academic school.
We will help you make the most of student life by working with services such as SEGi University Sport and the Students’ Union.
We can advise how to apply for a Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) to fund specialist real-time note-taking and equipment to support you in your studies. The University offer BSL, interpretation, or communication support, but students can apply for this through DSA. The University has a number of induction loop systems installed in lecture theatres, although you may wish to explore securing additional equipment, such as a radio aid, through DSA.
