    • Explore safe methods for reusing treated wastewater in agriculture and industry
    • Assess the environmental impact of wastewater discharge

    • Investigate methods for monitoring and improving water quality
    • Develop technologies for treating and purifying polluted water
    • Assess the impact of industrial, agricultural and urban activities on water quality
  3. Water resource management
    • Explore sustainable water resource management strategies
    • Develop models for efficient allocation and distribution of water resources
  4. Cross-disciplinary research
    • Encourage collaboration between scientists, engineers and policymakers
