Entry requirements

SPM credit in Mathematics and a pass in English
UEC 5 grade B including Mathematics, and a pass in English
A-Level full pass in 2 subjects (grade D)
MUET Band 2
STPM with a minimum Grade C+ (CGPA 2.33) in any two subjects, and credit in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level
STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid, (good) and credit in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level
Diploma in accounting or related field, or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, and credit in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level
Matriculation/Foundation qualification or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, and credit in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level
TOEFL score of 550 OR IELTS score of 5.5 OR its equivalent (international students)

English proficiency requirement

The English proficiency requirement is exempted for both local and international students if:-
the student has an academic qualification from an institution where English is used as a medium of instruction OR
the international student is from a country where English is an official language

Exemptions

Graduates of the SEGi University Bachelor of Accounting and Finance (Honours) degree will be given exemptions for:
ACCA: 9 Papers Exemption
CPA: 6 Papers Exemption
CTIM: 5 Papers Exemption
AICPA & CIMA: 11 Papers Exemption

Self-Tailor Learning Pathway or CGMA Finance Leadership Programme (FLP)

Upon successful completion of the Bachelor of Accounting and Finance (Honours) programme, students are eligible for 11 paper exemptions via the Self-Tailor Pathway or they can begin at the Management Level through the CGMA FLP programme. This opportunity is available to SEGi University Accounting and Finance students and provides a new, guided learning and assessment path towards obtaining the CIMA professional qualification and earning the CGMA designation.
