SEGi University and SEGi College Kota Damansara have successfully hosted the 24th Graduation Ceremony, with over 1,100 graduates
The ceremony was divided into two sessions, which 541 graduates attended. The morning session saw 171 attendees, while the afternoon session had 370 graduates.
This was the first time SEGi University had a special conferment ceremony for a Doctor of Philosophy (Management) to honour its Independent Non-Executive Chairman, Tan Sri Datuk Seri Megat Najmuddin Datuk Seri Dr Haji Megat Khas.
“This conferment is indeed a great honour as I believe it reflects on my contribution to SEGi since my appointment as first, a Member of the Board on 2 February 2001 and later, as the Chairman on 27 August 2008.
“I am confident that merging old strengths and new expertise will bring refreshing and innovative perspectives to further develop SEGi as a reputable higher education group, which places great emphasis on upholding high academic standards in all faculties,” said Megat during his acceptance speech.
Meanwhile, Valedictorian Ho Li Ling from Bachelor of Dental Surgery gave a meaningful speech before the ceremony ended.
All graduates gathered around the campuses to capture memorable photos with their friends and families before and after the ceremony. Congratulations, all graduates, for your fantastic achievements!
