SEGi University Alumni Association get-together

On 26 February 2022, SEGi University Alumni Association hosted an evening soiree for the alumni of SEGi University at Hilton Petaling Jaya. With the attendance of about 30 alumni, it was a cosy evening for everyone to enjoy their dinner, apart from reconnecting with old friends and reminiscing the good times as students of SEGi University.

Present during the event were Prof. Azrin Esmady Ariffin, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Student Affairs, and Dean, Faculty of Optometry and Vision Sciences, SEGi University, Ms Soo and Ms Pamela from SEGi University Students Affairs department, as well as Samuel Janakar, President of the SEGi University Alumni Association and his exco team.

The SEGi University Alumni Association aims to provide a platform for the alumni to contribute back to their alma mater. This get-together event is the first one of its kind after two years of no physical gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In his welcoming speech, Samuel Janakar said, “We are indeed grateful for the support given by Prof. Azrin and his team to the Association. We hope to be able to organise more activities in the future to give back to SEGi, to share our experience and networks in enriching SEGians.”

Prof. Azrin also gave his commitment in his speech. He said, “We will ensure that the alumni can enjoy some benefits that SEGi can offer. I hope that will encourage all of you to be active as an alumnus of SEGi University.”

SEGi University Alumni Association looks forward to the active participation of the alumni in the activities it will organise in the future. For the latest updates and news on the Association, follow its Instagram (@segiuniversityalumni) and Facebook (@SEGiUniversityAlumniAssociation) accounts.
