Fen Education recently organised a campus tour visit to SEGi University for potential students from five different schools on 21 March 2023. The tour included 33 students from various programmes, including BME, BEE, BChem, BCE, and BQS. Prospective students can use campus tours to get a sense of the campus, its people, and whether it’s a good fit for them. Andy, the Marketing Department representative, gave students informative flyers and catalogues during their visit.
The campus tour began with a presentation in Auditorium A that introduced students to the programmes and the campus environment. Then, five different programme presenters went over the courses, campus life, enrollment requirements, study fees, and foundation programmes in detail. In order to gain a better understanding of the programmes, the students actively participated in a Q&A session with the presenters.
Following the presentation, the students were divided into groups and led by the programme presenters to their respective laboratories. The equipment and apparatus in the laboratories and workshops piqued the students’ interest. The visit provided them with hands-on experience and a practical understanding of the programmes in which they were interested.
Following the tour, the students were led to the canteen, where they dined on a delicious meal prepared by SEGi student volunteers. Campus tours are essential in assisting prospective students in making informed decisions about their future education. According to a Niche report, campus visits are one of the top three factors influencing a student’s college choice.
Prospective students were able to learn more about their desired programmes, interact with faculty members, and get a sense of the campus environment during SEGi University’s campus tour visit. Such campus visits are critical in assisting students in making informed decisions about their future education, and SEGi University has demonstrated a commitment to providing potential students with a positive and enriching experience.
