SEGi University recently provided a valuable learning opportunity for 30 students from its Environmental Management and Technology class through a visit to the International Greentech and Eco Products Exhibition and Conference Malaysia 2024, held on 11 October. The event introduced students to cutting-edge environmental innovations, with exhibitors showcasing eco-friendly technologies aimed at tackling pressing environmental challenges. This hands-on experience was designed to deepen students’ understanding of sustainable solutions, preparing them to contribute to a more eco-conscious world.
Throughout the exhibition, students engaged with exhibitors and participated in workshops and discussions on key topics such as waste management, renewable energy, and sustainable agriculture. This interaction fostered critical thinking, connecting their classroom learning to real-world applications. By immersing themselves in these discussions, students were able to develop a comprehensive understanding of current environmental challenges, aligning with SEGi’s commitment to producing industry-ready graduates.
The conference also provided networking opportunities, allowing students to engage with industry professionals. This gave them insights into potential career paths and the importance of collaboration in sustainability initiatives. Such exposure enhanced students’ career readiness, equipping them with both knowledge and practical skills.
