SEGi University has achieved remarkable success at the 13th International Invention, Innovation & Design Competition, held at UiTM Seri Iskandar, Perak, on 13 June 2024. Two final-year students from SEGi showcased their innovative projects, earning prestigious accolades and bringing pride to their institution. Sean Eddry Effie Rizal’s project, “Integrated Smart Electric Vehicle (EC) Charging Mobile Application,” and Thananya Hiew’s project, “Smart Clothes Drying System with Weather Forecasting Prediction,” demonstrated the high calibre of SEGi’s students and their dedication to advancing technology.
Accompanied by four IT lecturers—Ts. Hazlina Haron, Noor Hafizah Ismail, Ts. Dr. Nor Anis Sulaiman, and Mohammad Zahirudin Ibrahim—the students’ participation highlighted SEGi’s commitment to providing exceptional educational experiences. Meanwhile, Thananya’s project secured a silver medal, highlighting her creative solution for efficient and weather-aware clothes drying.
