SEGians Tackle Global Cybersecurity Challenges at IBOH 2024

SEGi University recently made a mark in the global cybersecurity arena as students participated in the prestigious International Battle of Hackers (IBOH) hosted by Asia Pacific University on 28 September 2024. This high-stakes competition saw 696 participants across 238 teams from around the world, testing their skills in identifying vulnerabilities, defending networks, and solving complex security challenges.

Representing SEGi University were Cheng Yong Tat, a Bachelor in Information Technology student, and Lai Jun Min, studying Bachelor in Cyber Security. The duo teamed up with Brandon Chow Chen Hong from Sunway University to compete in the challenging international category.
