Chemical Engineering Students Gain Industry Insights at Top Glove

On 19th November 2024, 20 students and 4 lecturers from SEGi University had the opportunity to participate in a transformative industrial visit to Top Glove Tower and Factory 25 R&D Centre. This experience bridged the gap between academic learning and real-world applications, inspiring future engineers with firsthand insights into the manufacturing industry.

The visit was carefully curated to provide a comprehensive understanding of Top Glove’s operations and innovative practices:

  • Corporate Presentation: The HR Department delivered an engaging presentation on Top Glove’s achievements, goals, and industry-leading contributions, setting the tone for an inspiring day.
  • Top Glove Tower Tour: Students explored the impressive TG City models, Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, the Grand Ballroom, and Healthy Fitness facilities, gaining insights into the infrastructure supporting the company’s success.
  • Factory 25 R&D Centre Tour: The group witnessed PPE distribution, production line operations, and cutting-edge R&D applications, providing a practical perspective on engineering concepts.
  • Interactive Q&A Session: Students engaged with Top Glove representatives, gaining valuable industry insights and inspiration for their future careers.
