SEGi PhD student Walisijiang Tayier takes bronze in IEM E-Poster Competition

SEGi University celebrates the remarkable achievement of Walisijiang Tayier, a PhD Engineering student, who recently competed in the highly esteemed Student Research E-Poster Competition organised by the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM). Supervised by Ir. Dr. Shamini Janasekaran and Ir. Tai Vin Cent from the Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology, Walisijiang showcased his exceptional research prowess. 

The competition consisted of two rigorous rounds: the first round on 19 August 2023 and the second on 26 August 2023. The results were announced virtually, and it is with great pride that we announce Walisijiang’s well-deserved bronze award for his groundbreaking study titled “Stainless steel joint applying microwave hybrid heating (MHH) for dental braces application towards green technology.”
